Students who have completed PLTW courses in high school may apply for college credit after completing 12 credits and earning a GPA > 2.0 at UMBC. These students should submit an electronic portfolio containing their PLTW courses to Prof. Jamie Gurganus, jgurganus@umbc.edu. In addition, the scores from the EOC exams for POE, IED, and DE will be required. Stanine scores of 6 or higher on the EOC exams are required to be eligible for college credit. Students will earn Credit By Examination for ENES101.
